I'm very excited for a busy, and travel filled summer! I got back from visiting Madison WI, and then Elgin IL, Monday. It was really fun visiting those places, and camping with my sisters. We attended my cousins open house which was although freakishly hot, very fun. I was glad I could be there. It still is weird to me seeing my older siblings so much less, but the times I do are pretty awesome. :) This summer includes working part time at catering, the WI Dells (which I really am very excited about, because I get to see my wonderful nieces and nephews!), Challenge (a national youth conference which I will be going as a leader), hosting, working, and traveling to Chicago with the Czech students, and a visit to MI in August. Basically besides the few scarce days when I am mostly unoccupied with busyness, and get to sleep in, it will be very busy. I'm loving this kind of business however. School had its pluses, but I'm excited for a break. One of my closer friends, Bethany Boeck left Monday, and flew out Tuesday to the Czech Republic for a summer long missions trip! I will miss her very much, but am excited to see how God will grow, and use her in awesome ways. :) I really think its gonna be a pretty awesome summer.

Craziest week ever! Reading my last post made me realize that the last week and 1/2 has felt like a month. Probably because I've actually been awake more hours than usual, plus the stress of figuring school out. It was one of the worst days ever this past Monday. I missed the bus, was late for my first class, and never had the chance to eat a meal in 12 hours. Basically it seemed like besides slipping on ice, everything went wrong! I got home and was ready to drop all three of my classes in For Dodge. I prayed about it however, and realized that I probably shouldn't do that. So I talked to my school adviser yesterday morning, and now I hopefully wont be missing the bus anymore, and I know of an excellent place to eat! Today was probably the best day yet in Fort dodge! I stayed up a little late last night 11:00 What?? I was reading, and it was between finishing the last 50 pages, or going to bed. I succumbed unfortunately, or fortunately. It as a really good book! I am a little tired today however, but making it through. My second class was cancelled due to reasons unknown. I heard rumors that the teacher canceles a lot for random reasons, like taking the day off. I'm not sure if thats true, but I found it very strange. Plus I didn't even get a text like some other guy who apparently the teacher favors. I had to go to the class and see it posted on the door! On the plus side, no homework all weekend in that class! Also on the plus side, this week I've been able to finish all of my homework at the school library, and come home to relax. We watched Sherlock Tuesday evening, and it was awesome. I've decided a new goal is to make that happen every day so that I can do awesome stuff, like watch Sherlock. I think that I am going to to play broom ball tomorrow night at a friends ice rink. I went a lot last winter, but haven't got yet this winter! Its been a very mild and warm winter in Iowa this year though, which I've enjoyed. Naturally it starts freezing over when I start school on campus, and have to walk around freezin my face off. A friend is coming home from college this weekend, and might join me playing broom ball. So now the plan is tomorrow night, and I hope I don't freez to the ice. I'm excited though! Nothing quite like freezing to the ice.

I've decided its time I start blogging again. The reason being that I now have to get up at 5:45 AM Tuesday's and Thursday's EVERY WEEK. Why am I putting myself through this unusual torture you may ask? Because I've decided for some strange reason that an education is worth it. I will be riding a bus one hour away to take three classes, and then eat lunch and study for three hours before the bus returns home at 5:30.

I just got home from my one class that I am taking one minute away from my house and living place in Storm Lake. I didn't realize that it was an ICN class meaning that we had microphones, and the teacher was in Fort Dodge one hour away. So I actually experienced the satellite part of my satellite campus for the first time. It was pretty weird, I guess the camera zooms in on your face and focuses on you when you use the microphone and speak to the other class. Just in case people weren't already self conscious enough already. The hilarious part is I met the teacher with cameras and a microphone today, but tomorrow it turns out I have him in another one of my business classes in Fort Dodge. This means I will have him as a teacher in two classes this semester, and in two different locations. So I will meet him face to face tomorrow, and he'll probably think I'm some sort of stalker or something. I also realized that last semester all my teachers were women, and this semester I think they are all men. This seems very strangely coincidental some how. Maybe women are more geared toward art and math classes, where as men are more geared toward business classes? Still trying to figure it out.

On the plus side, I had a fantastic winter break filled with family visiting, wii playing, novel reading, sleeping in late, staying up late, eating delicious foods, relaxing, socializing, and not studying or working. It was possibly even better than I had imagined. I think its good I'm getting back to reality however, probably unhealthy to live such and wonderfully unproductive existence for to long.
